Description
We have procured dinosaur fossils from various rock shops and exhibitions. Over time, these specimens have become increasingly rare and valuable. This scarcity is primarily attributed to the restriction on collecting dinosaur fossils on public lands within the United States. Much of the dinosaur bone collected on private land has been depleted, and the majority of available dinosaur fossils today originate from existing collections.
Often, dinosaur bone is cut perpendicular to the cell structure to ideally display vibrant color patterns surrounded by cell walls, yielding the distinctive appearance of gem bone. However, in some cases, the cells are too small, making it difficult to discern any discernible patterns. Cutting the dinosaur bone parallel or diagonal to the cell structure can sometimes help reveal the hidden colors and cells.
