We acquired some a few large stones of this material a few years ago. The orbs on the material we received are quite small making them ideal for use in small cabochons in jewelry making.
This material comes from the Stony Creek area of Northern California. Because of the seismic activity in the area fractures are common. Some fractures are healed while others are not.
