Description

Sonora Sunrise Chrysocolla, a truly captivating gemstone renowned for its exceptional beauty and unique combination of colors and mineral composition. At its heart lies Chrysocolla, imparting a gentle, soft light blue tone, complemented by the fiery accents of Cuprite, which introduce vibrant red and orange hues. Striking black patterns emerge from the presence of Tenorite, while occasional traces of Brochantite add subtle touches of green.

Honing in on its origin, this remarkable material was extracted from the Milpillas Mine in Sonora, Mexico, during the period spanning 2007 to 2010. As a result of its limited extraction period and increasing demand, Sonora Sunrise Chrysocolla is now recognized as a rare gem. Though lower-quality specimens may still be accessible, the availability of high-grade material is steadily declining, elevating exceptional slabs to a highly sought-after and valuable status among collectors and enthusiasts.
