Description

Sodalite is a mineral found globally and is sometimes confused with Lapis Lazuli due to their similar appearances. Both feature white calcite bands, but Sodalite typically exhibits a darker coloration, sometimes appearing almost black, whereas Lapis Lazuli is generally brighter and often contains pyrite inclusions. Certain Sodalite specimens display peach or pink calcite bands. Therefore, caution is advised when purchasing either stone, as misidentification is common in the market.
