Salina Wonderstone often has a unique dark center making it easily recognizable. This variety of wonderstone is a type of petrified volcanic ash.
The location where this is collected is near the side of a dirt road however digging up this material is quite difficult. Due to the difficulty of digging this material, we prefer to purchase it and let someone else do the hard work. We purchased this material from Utah Dump Digger.
