Description

Graveyard Point Agate has been prized for its distinctive, ethereal plumes for quite some time, making it a sought-after gem among collectors and lapidaries. This unique agate finds its origins in the Owyhee Mountains of eastern Oregon, a region renowned for its rich deposits of various captivating gemstones, including a wide array of popular jaspers and agates.

The particular piece of rough came to us through a rewarding rock swap. We exchanged some slabs we had accumulated in excess, and in return, we were fortunate to receive some beautiful Graveyard Point Agate. We were thrilled with the trade, and the element of surprise is what makes it so exciting! We can’t wait to see what this rough reveals when we get to cut into it.
