Unknown Rocks & Minerals
Showing all 9 results
Over the years, we have curated an impressive collection of lapidary slabs and rough during our visits to the Tucson Gem Show, several other shows that we regularly attend and many rock shops, many of which are long gone. Over time, many of the mines from which this beautiful material was sourced became depleted. Eventually, these remarkable slabs were forgotten, and it is now challenging to locate information about them.
Unfortunately, we failed to label some of the slabs we first purchased, and after many years, we have forgotten their origins and sources.
Because much of our inventory comprises rare vintage stock, we are fairly confident that our collection includes highly collectible or rare lapidary slabs that we have been unable to identify.
The challenge we faced in organizing and cataloging our slabs prompted the creation of our website.
If you can identify any of the slabs in our “unknown” category, we would appreciate your input so that the slab can be properly labeled and relocated to its correct position on our website.
