Description

Polka Dot Agate is often referred to as Polka Dot Jasper because it is sometimes between a jasper and an agate. The Polka Dot Agate Mine is located in Ashwood, Oregon, a former gold and silver mining town. The mine was once a place where people could pay to dig for agate, but it is now reported that digging is no longer permitted. Rock & Gem Magazine has a great article about this beautiful material.
