Description
We acquired a limited quantity of this beautiful agate from DAH Rock Shop in Tucson, Arizona, around 1998. The stones originated from a pile located in the outdoor section at the rear of the store. The rock pile was small and simply labeled “Sonora Agate”. The source pile measured less than two feet in diameter and less than six inches in depth. We selected the most desirable pieces available and have not had the opportunity to obtain additional stock. This beautiful agate (jasper) exhibits remarkable colors, and we regret not acquiring a larger quantity. Unfortunately, the pieces we were able to obtain were relatively small.
