Description
This uniquely patterned jasper, acquired in a bulk purchase from an estate sale. Although this material remains unidentified, because we know where much of the material came from at the estate sale, it’s likely that this material came from the Owyhee Mountains on the Idaho/Oregon border. As with most jasper that comes from that area, the fine grain suggests it would be ideal for crafting exceptional cabochons.
