We acquired this material near the conclusion of a gem show in Sierra Vista, Arizona, after a dump truck from Sonora, Mexico deposited a quantity of it adjacent to the show’s premises. Although the material was quickly sold, we managed to procure a few pounds prior to its depletion.
Although this was sold to us as Parrot Wing Chrysocolla, that may not be 100% true. We stopped by a rock shop in St. David, Arizona and we were told it may be a much rarer mineral but we can’t remember what he said it might be.
