We were recently purchased this amazing 16 pound piece of Hyalite Bubble Opal from Utah Dump Digger. We’ve considered signing up to join a group to dig at the claim owned by Rock Dreams. Another option was buy directly from Rock Dreams at the many gem shows they attend however, this was such a nice piece we had to purchase it.
This beautiful material was formed when bubbles from an ancient hot spring were trapped inside a hydrothermal deposit. This is such a nice example of this beautiful material that it’s going into our display case and we’ll probably never cut it.
