This unique and beautiful form of petrified wood comes from the Park City, Utah area.
The specific area is a road intersection known as Silver Creek Junction, about where the current I-80 intersects with US 40.
The area is developed and is on private land. No collecting is allowed anymore so the only material that is available today comes from old collections.
